TrakArt Pops Orchestra presented the “Cypriot Works” concert with Michalis Hadjiyiannis and Kostas Hadjichristodoulou. Premiere of the first appearance of the newly formed TrakArt orchestra. The concerts were dedicated to 12 Cypriot composers whose works were presented by TrakArt orchestra featuring young people with talent and great passion for music.

Works by the composers Aris Antoniadis, Vasos Argyridis, Andreas Georgallis, Giorgos Theofanous, Costas Kakogiannis, Giorgos Kotsonis, Neoklis Neophytidis, Stelios Pisis, Marios Tokas, Vassilis Filippou, Michalis Hadjiyiannis and Michalis Christodoulidis were presented. The works of Cypriot composers were performed by beloved Cypriot soloists, such as Michalis Hadjiyiannis and Costas Hadjchristodoulou, with the participation of other performers such as Riana Athanasiou, Andreas Aroditis, Mariam Venizelou and George Ioannou who gave a different quality with a contemporary version under the direction of conductor and composer Aris Antoniadis.

On stage, the well-known artists from Greece, George Perris and Mariza Rizou. They are joined by the Cypriot soloists Aliki Chrysochou, Riana Athanasiou, Andreas Aroditis, the Children’s Choir and the Vocal Ensemble “Diastasis” with the TrakArt Pops Orchestra, under the direction of Aris Antoniadis.

Texts were also written by Kostas Petridis that linked the songs with images. The show was designed by the stage and lighting designer Ben Rogers.

Four of these great performers were presented together on stage for the first time. Mariam Venizelou, Andrea Markou, Andrea Neocleous and Georgia Neocleous met with the TrakArt Pops Orchestra, with its maestro and conductor Aris Antoniadis. The performers Irini Kakogianni, Nikos Mylonas, Evgenios Mylonas and Pampos Kouzalis also participated.
